ACID 4.0 - Unable to access tutorials -ACID Product Family

Subject:ACID 4.0 - Unable to access tutorials Posted by: PaulZ Date:12/29/2004 2:14:12 PM I have the updated version of SONY Screenblast ACID 4.0. The links to the tutorials do not work. I get various error messages from internet explorer 6.0 that "the scripts will not run on this page" and from ACID saying "An error occurred while initiallizing the tutor component. All tutor functionality will be disabled The COM object failed to initialize." I have absolutely no trouble with my Dell 4550 which has plenty of capacity and can access any other link or web site without problems. I can access through SBC/Yahoo DSL or America On Line. Both fail. I have no problems getting to sony websites and have submitted numberous tech service requests and they never respond. A friend has gotten the program to work fine (without access to the tutorials) but he was already familiar with it and has moved and cannot help me. I just need to be able to edit, fade, delete, etc when mixing using the most efficient methods. I have all appropriate serial numbers and am registered - which shows up on the screen when I am signed on. I saw in one of the earlier posts to this site that the tutorials no longer exist for one of the other SONY (PRO version) products and I am wondering if this is the case here. The PDF file instructions are burdensome to get through and I do not need to do anything complicated. ANY IDEAS or help would be appreciated. If they discontinued the tutorials, they should tell us that the links no longer exist. Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!
