Acid freezes when trying to change volume levels on multiple tracks in afolder 2. Samples in explorer window do not play instantly like they do in version 4.0, which is frustrating. They have to "load" first in v. 5. Whats up with that? 3. Program takes too long to load 4. Intermittent fatal errors causing crash Overall I like this new version, but would like it so much better if the above issues could be resolved.

Samples that aren't ACIDized usually have to go through the loading process so ACID can determine what kind of track it could be. Does this happen for every sample, or some? 3. You can cut the time ACID takes to load by going to Options > Preferences and under the General tab, uncheck, "Enable Media Manager." However, you won't be able to use the Media Manager anymore. An alternative is to simply shut the Media Manager (View > Media Manager) before you close ACID. ACID should start up a little faster the next time around. Use ALT+5 to open the Media Manager from there. 4. What are these fatal errors? Examples? Make sure you detail what goes wrong, as well as repro steps. Email SPD with these details when possible.
