I'm doing 1 hour hip hop mixes every few days so I have to do things quickly. I think I have a good understanding on the Beatmapper but I'm doing a lot of cutting up of the tracks in ACID to line up 32 beats. I don't mind taking the time time to get things perfect but chopping the track up to align the beats creates unwanted cicks even with quick edge fades and distorts the music. I know there is not a way to stretch only a portion of a track but does anyone have any tips for me.. Should I be using a different program???

The clicks may be caused by edits that are not at zero crossings in the wave. Unfortunately, ACID doesn’t have a way to easily avoid this. You just need to zoom in on the Beatmap points and make sure they are aligned to the zero crossing manually. Sound Forge has a key (Z) that will automatically move the edit to the zero crossing. If you’re doing a lot of these edits, it may be easier to do them in Sound Forge or Sound Forge Studio.
