I've been asked to remix a Book On Tape (well, CD, actually) that a friend wrote. She's also asked if I have any music of between the chapters that would fit the theme, which is an Irish tale. I've searched AcidPlanet, but can't find anything specific to this genre. However, I found a few Artists that have done great work that has the right sound. Are there any loops you might suggest I look at (listen to)? Thanks very much. |

I believe soundsonline or big fish have a celtic CD. I'm not sure how many loops are involved. Did you google it? |

"Did I Google is?" ... No... I'm just not that clever - dang it. I thought here would be the place to start. So, keywords may be, "loops," "Acid" "Gaelic" etc, I suppose. Thanks for the reminder that I should look more than one place. I'm a dope. |

Sometimes it's more fun to just ask. |

Plus: the answers to just about any question will benefit a lot of other people too, not just the original poster. Tor |

Thanks guys. (Oh, by the way, I DID find some Gaelic loops on "soundsonline.com" - so double thanks for that!) I've actually done a "fairly" thorough search for any kind of Charlie Chaplin/comedy-type loops and found nothing. Is that just how it is, or am I not searching hard enough (google for about 45 min with no luck)? |

If it's there it usually pops up pretty quick. I recall something on soundsonline, but I don't know how good it is... and I remember it being about $100. But there is a sale going on now. Anyone use this CD? |

I was after a silent movie type of music once. What I did was download a ragtime midi file, edit it and orchestrate it slightly, play it and record the result in Vegas. Tor |
