Subject:Basic Midi Instruments

This seems like a daft question but I haven't found the answer - with Acid 4 there was a default selction of midi sounds available when one inserted a new midi track. How do I access these in Acid 5, or have they gone?

Chris,

You should see the same default selection of MIDI sounds in ACID Pro 5.0 as well. The soft synth is called the Sony DLS Soft Synth. Just add it from the Insert Soft Synth dialog.

Thanks, I found it. I missed it previously because I'd been thinking it was called something else. (sometimes hard to remember it's not Sonic Foundry anymore)
