Subject:MIDI TRACK (help plz)

hi.. i was wondering ,, when you insert a midi track and then write the music ,, can u get sounds other than the piano in ACID 4 . i want to write some thing alse than piano , like drums and basses.. etc.

You can select the different sounds by opening the soft synth properties (Alt+8). This will depend on what soft synth you are using but even the very basic DLS Soft Synth from ACID 4 has this capability.

ye, thanx , i got the list out and there are a number of different synth's but i still dunt know how to put the soft synth's instead of the piano.. :/ .

Perhaps you are not playing the soft synth at all. If your sound card has synth sounds, you may be hearing your sound card’s piano sound. Go to the track header and press the MIDI device assignment button (to the right of the track name) and make sure the track is assigned to the soft synth and not your sound card. This might be the problem.
