Subject:Microsoft .NET v1.1 Framework?

Upon installing AP5, I was prompted that I must install Microsoft's .NET v1.1 Framework. Is this legit? Has anyone had problems with their machine related to installing this?

I have not any problems related to it being installed on my DAW or laptop. I've had it installed, on both, since last April, when I upgraded to Vegas 5, which requires it also. Once installed, you won't even notice it. My DAW has always been stable and virtually crash free and that has not changed with either net framework or ACID 5 being installed.
