I am getting them all the time with ACID (not with any other programs though) for all kinds of things, including just closing the program. Is this just part of "it's a new program - gotta get all the kinks out still" or what? Does anybody else get these? I was finally starting to have (mostly) problem free use of ACID4, so I upgraded. So far for me version5 seems somewhat glitchy, although nowhere near what 4 was when it came out. Can anybody who is using MIDI and VSTis verify or deny these problems so I can rule out "it's just me"? Most of the problems come when using MIDI and softsynths. But as far as it goes - I'm really liking being able to use VST effects without wrappers, and tempo sync. And, Folder Tracks are awesome to have. I don't have any use for ReWire unless Vegas gets it, and the media manager is useless to me (I record live intruments and only use a few drum loops). But it's a good step if I can get rid of the crashing. As far as the noise thing - I don't know what you could be hearing. But, I imagine it would have to do with a soundcard/driver issue. It sounds very clean here.
