I would like to create some music for my web site but the wave file created by ACID is to larg and takes forever to load (even for a small peice of music) Is there anyway in ACID to convert to wave file to a midi file so that I can use it on my web page. Maybe there is something better to use for a web page? thanks DH |

MIDI is NOT audio. it's data. what you need to do is render your acid song in one of the streaming audio formats like realaudio. RTFM |

Render it as an .mp3 file. Depending on how large your users can tolerate the file, you can set the mp3 quality. I use 128K. Figure on about a megabyte per minute of recorded song. Then just upload it to your host and link to it. Forget .WAV files for web use. They are uncompressed files for CDs. iPods, and the like. Hope that helps. Rick |
