Rewire fixed with Cubase!!!! -ACID Product Family - MAGIX Community Forums Archive

Okay everybody ( and tech support,if you are listening). When I purchased AP5 and & rewired to Cubase SE all was good, then for some unknown reason a couple of days later the signal on playback was distorted. After several tech inquiries nothing was resolved, so I just thought I would wait for an update. Well as fate has it, for an early Christmas, I got Cakewalk Music Creator 2(it's almost the bottom of the bunch), however IT supports Rewire 2.0 as well. Before installing I checked all of my existing software just to see how they all were working. Everything was the same, Cubase-ACID...distorted. AFTER installing Cakewalk, my Cubase ACID setup is clear as a whistle!!! So I am not telling everyone to go buy Cakewalk, but I have seen fewer Sonar users complain about this issue than Cubase users. Also if you are a Sonar user with this problem, maybe reinstalling AFTER the ACID install might fix your problem I realize this could ALL be a coincidence and in a few days I'll be back to where I started, but if I do, I'll keep everybody posted.
