Is it possible for me to access the voices on channel 10? I would like to use the available drum voices on channel 10. It seems like I can only access voice sets on channel 1

Dbl click on the DLS synth, then drop down the arrow by the "channel" drop down menu, selct 10 and then you are able to (in the main window) select whatever kit you want. Next just click on the keys in the synth to hear the sounds.

Thanks, actually, I wanted to know how to access the channel 10 through my midi keyboard. You know, I want to be able to play the drum kits with my
midi keyboard instead of clicking on the onscreen keyboard. It seems like I'm only able to access the channel 01 through my midi keyboard, and I only can
play the voice sets on that channel 01.

You have to switch your MIDI keyboard to transmit on channel 10 instead of channel 1.

Yeah, I thought about transmitting my midi keyboard on channel 10; however, my Yamaha Portatone PSR-290 transmits all 16 channels
at once, and channel 1 is the only one that seems to play. Do you
think I have to make a program change adjustment?

According to my manual, the PSR-290 is an electronic instrument that can
handle 16 channels. This is usually expressed as"it can play 16 instruments
at the same time." Channel messages transmit information such as Note ON/
OFF, Program Change, for each of the 16 channels.

I took a quick look at the manual for your keyboard and I would guess that it will receive on all 16 channels (OMNI mode) but only transmits on Channel 1. If there is no way to control the MIDI channel assignment then it’s probably fixed to channel 1. I could not find any MIDI channel assignment function for the Yamaha Portatone PSR-290. You might want to contact Yamaha about it.
