I apologize if my lingo is screwy... I'm self tought on this program. I would like to move my mapped samples from one file to another. any idea how? basicly I have an online band. I write the songs, then I compress them to one MP3 track. I maile that track and a map to my friend who puts the drums on it and then sends the new map and all the samples he used back to me. I am left with my initial file with my samples and his file with my compressed samples and his samples. I want to take them and insert them all into one file? can I do this? |

Yes. You can open two instances of ACID and copy and paste between them. Open your original project. Then start a new copy of ACID and open your friends project. Select all the tracks that he did and do a copy (Ctrl+C). Leave that instance of ACID open and return to your original project in the other instance and do a paste (Ctrl+V). All of his tracks will be pasted into your original project. You can now close the other instance of ACID and continue working in your project. ~jr |
