I've been working with AP4 for about a year now. Not using MIDI yet, pretty much using it to write/record rock songs. Are there truly compelling reasons I should upgrade? It sure seems like folks are having lots of problems getting AP5 to work right. To do so seems to necessitate disabling one of the best new features of v5, media mgr. Thanks, Rick |

the media arranger is pointless for me. 1.vst pluggins 2. for me its more stable than 4.0 3. rewire slave 4. bus to bus routing 5. reverse these are the reason i upgraded if you dont need these features than i dont know why you would upgrade |

For me, Rewire was reason enough. The free sample libraries didn't hurt either. I disabled MM. I assume Sony will address some of the issues in the next rev. |

Hmm. I don't really know what Rewire is. It's another app, I think. And I haven't slaved anything using ACID yet. lol! |
