I am a Protools LE user but I also love Soundforge. I now want to have these two applications running on the same Windows XP machine. My question is this. Can I use either a Digi002 or an Mbox as the dedicated soundcard for Soundforge to record and to playback audio (I don't mean simultaneously). From posts I have read I am thinking you can only playback audio from Soundforge using these two soundcards due to no ASIO support. Can anyone give me a definte answer to this. Cheers Metro |

Doesn't the Digi002 and the Mbox both have WDM drivers as well? If so, you're in business. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Pre-order Instant ACID mD at ACIDplanet Guitars 4 Kids |

You can not record in Sound Forge with the Digi Windows Classic Wavedrivers, only playback. You can record/playback with the Digi ASIO drivers. George Ware |

Note that Sound Forge 7.0 does not support ASIO drivers. I believe an older version of the Digi Wave drivers allowed recording, but they removed it from the most recent version. Both were still available on their website the last time I looked. There was a thread on this forum a while back if you want to find specific version numbers. J. |

Soundforge needs to be updated to support DIGI users. |
