Acid 5.0 Posted by: djcityboy Date:12/17/2004 9:51:20 AM ok now um not sure if can be help'd but heres the problemo!!!!!i have acid 4.0 install'd on my pc....and have recently install'd acid 5.0....after i noticed that my computer was chuggin a bit in 5.0 i uninstall'd it and went back to using 4.0 again (i need a new pc of course, to stop the chug) now that ive gone back to using 4.0 my TRACK EQ is gone and i cant find it anywhere most of all the other effects are there but no track eq.....is there a way i can get it back??? and i dont want to use any other eq (i love the track eq) and its very easy to use as well!! if i reinstall 5.0 will it fix this problem or am i outta luck??????? thanx a bunch ~city~ oh yeah and i jus install'd the Acid Pro 4.0f update and that never fix'd it either......crapitty crap! YIP YIP YIPPEE HEY JUS TO LET YOU KNOW I REINSTALLED ACID 5.0 PRO AND MY TRACK EQ IS BACK AND UM GOOD TO GO!!!!!!!!!! THANX A BUNCH YOU GUYS PEAS OUT THE ~~~CITYBOY~~~

Acid 5.0 Reply by: JohnnyRoy Date:12/18/2004 5:38:26 AM You can have both ACID 4 and ACID 5 installed at the same time and just use ACID 4 if you are having problems with ACID 5. This should give you back all your FX. As for ACID 5 needing more resources (i.e., the chugging PC), you can turn off the Media Manager which will reduce both the memory and processing requirements for ACID 5. Just go into Options > Preferences > General and uncheck [ ] Enable Media Manager (requires ACUD restart) See if that helps. ~jr
