Subject:Stringing songs together (again)

Still can't do it. I have a file ( a song) open already. If I go to file again and open another song, it replaces the one that was there. If I go to file, then copy, and then try to paste, the 3 options I get are cross fade, mix, overwrite and replicate. There is no way I've found to link tunes together. If you know how to do this, let me know step by step if you can,

If I go to file again and open another song, it replaces the one that was there - first file under Window menu

use Edit>Paste not Paste Special
