Wherefore Preferences?

Does anyone know where Vegas' preferences are stored? I'm looking for more specifically the ones under options -> preferences; but I'd also like to know where the window setup and the display and default project settings are stored. Is it in an .ini file, a registry entry, in the .exe itself? We have a bank of five machines and they all need the same settings.

We're using 4.0e.

All the preferences are in the registry.

Are they saved seperately or in a bundle? I fired up regedit and looked around and there's a lot of "vegas" and "sonic foundry" entries.

It is not documented for end-user usage. You should not mess with the registry settings manually without extreme care.

Any other way to set the settings to the same on the 6 computers in our editing department, then? If I can't pull the registry keys out and plug them in all around or sync them all some other way then I'd have to do it manually, which isn't really practical. I need some way to do it with 4.0e.

Is there any way to pull all the preferences out of one machine and dump the same ones onto another machine?
