I wouldl like to clean vocal bloopers out of my track. Mispronunciations, muttering and stuttering. It seems acid doesn't allow cut and paste from one track to the other. I'd appreciate any ideas on what to do in this situation...besides not stuttering, muttering...! Thank you

Best solution: singing courses... ;)

select your audio in the chopper and then 'chop' the sections to new track
otherwise, u would need to open in an external editor...

You could use the chopper, but ACID is not the tool for this kind of work, at least that is not its intent. Vegas is ideal for this type of work, though Sound Forge is very capable of this type of work.

Sound Forge would be my tool of choice for this sort of thing. Even the $69 Sound Forge Audio Studio would be fine for the task.
