Input monitoring with Vegas 2.0LE

Is there a way to monitor the record mike input with Vegas 2.0 LE? I have not been able to hear myself lay down new tracks as I am playing them live. I know it's old software, but my demo needs are small. Any help with this issue would be greatly apprciated. I have not been able to find any software switch to turn on input monitoring. I get playback but can't hear what is coming through the mike,.. ever.

I don't believe there is any software input monitoring. You ussually monitor through your audio interface or external mixer. There is a very recent post here that explains one way to do this (via standard microsoft volume control panel)
