Windows XP x64, v1298 - help. -ACID Product Family

I installed ".net framework 2.0 beta" but Sony obsolete installer does not look for newer versions only 1.0. Did you happen to notice the word beta in there? That means its unreleased, not ready for prime-time, anything may change before release, software. I would not expect Sony to include support for other peoples beta software in their product. I’m sure they are watching and testing for when the beta becomes golden but expecting Sony to support software from Microsoft that is still in development is asking for a bit much. Important to who? 64Bit Windows is 2 years from mattering in the mainstream. This forum concentrates on the here and the now. Beta products are just that...unreleased and unsupported. Even Microsoft won't give you dime one of support on an RC1 version of their own OS so why should anyone else? VP
