Does any one know a fix to install acid 5 pro onto this version of xp?
Will there be a patch soon?

I installed ".net framework 2.0 beta" but Sony obsolete installer does not look for newer versions only 1.0.

This is the url for the beta...

Sony needs to get on the ball to keep us 64-bit pros happy :)

Did you happen to notice the word beta in there? That means its unreleased, not ready for prime-time, anything may change before release, software. I would not expect Sony to include support for other peoples beta software in their product. I’m sure they are watching and testing for when the beta becomes golden but expecting Sony to support software from Microsoft that is still in development is asking for a bit much. There may also be things in .Net 2.0 the break 1.1 so it would be wise of Sony not to allow you to install with it.

NO! You are incorrect. Read the statement on the All Forums page:

The Sony Pictures Digital Discussion Forums are peer support areas where you can share tips and advice with other Sony Pictures Digital product users. We monitor these boards periodically. However, if you require immediate technical support, please choose from the options on our Support Home Page.

This forum is a place for users to share tips and advice. Sony has no obligation to visit these forums. That fact that they frequent these forums speaks volumes about Sony’s superior customer support. But don’t mistaken these forums for “official” support from Sony. They are not. If you want support for 64bit windows. Go through the “official” channels and submit a Product Suggestion. If enough people require it they will implement it. Moving to 64bit should be a business decision. Not simply chasing technology for technology’s sake.

"This is a support forum am i not correct?....."

Yes - for the released version of Acid on the released and SUPPORTED version of Windows.

"windows 64 bit is RC1 and almost to be released Sony should realy stay uptodate with all important things and i must say this is important!!!"

Important to who? 64Bit Windows is 2 years from mattering in the mainstream. This forum concentrates on the here and the now. Beta products are just that...unreleased and unsupported. Even Microsoft won't give you dime one of support on an RC1 version of their own OS so why should anyone else?
