when playing a specific project and Stop, acid Bug: D:\project\rewire\portable\rewiredll.cpp (990): VERIFY failure I try rewiredd.cpp on google and i was surprised, that this bug is not specific to ACID. Some Reason. cubase, logic or protools users have the same bug and their DAW crash! even on MAC! perhaps a ViRUS on a special VST plugin? It's so strange this path doesn't exist cause D:\ is a CD rom drive! I don't use REWIRE on my pc. Why this bug? why this strange path? pls help me ans everybody in the same situation. |

Do a search for “cpp verify failure” on these forums and you’ll see what others have found. You are correct, is seems to be a common problem even for people who don’t use ReWire. ~jr |

The msg is from the actual ReWire dll installed by any ReWire host (ACID, SONAR, etc) or device (Reasons, Live, ACID, etc.) The path refeference is to the internal build layout that the Propellerheads used when building the rewire.dll that is installed on you machine. This msg is tell you that something pulled the plug on the ReWire subsystem before every user of the subsystem said it was ok. Even if you don't use ReWire, a ReWire host or device must talk to the ReWire Subsystem in order to initialize itself. Something is wrong, but what is the culprit has not been determined yet. Peter |

Hello, Reinstalling Acid 5P & Sonar 4P fixed this for me, I was getting the same error after shutting down Acid. See ya, Rockitglider |
