Hello there. Just one quick question: I have trouble saving a volume / pan envelope in SF 7. I've tried all thes mehods: 1- Saving the complete plug-in chainer in a preset 2- Saving all the plugin chainer's preset individually (including the volume plugin, of course) 3- Saving as a WAV file (with meta data embedded) 4- Saving as a workspace NO LUCK! Everytime I try to re-open the file, all my envelope's automation are gone! The only thing I have not tried yet (forgot about that, and just read about that on the forum) is to save as a SOUND FORGE PROJECT. Is that the only way to save an envelope, or am I encountering a bug?? Thanks in advance! Bye |

Yes. Saving a project is the only way to save envelopes. Envelopes are intimately tied with the file itself and, as such, are not stored with the chainer preset. It's been discussed as a potential future enhancement, though. J. |

Thank you for your reply to my little question! I'll try it as soon as I can back to the job (and access my DAW) Bye |
