Subject:Rewiring Acid 5.0 to Cubase SX3.0: Your experiences?

Has anyone rewired Acid 5.0 to Cubase SX 3.0? Any luck with it? Is it stable? and above all, can you use the Acid transport controls to make the whole thing go? I have Cubase SX 1.06 and it is hopeless (it also isn't supported as an Acid Rewire master because it was never tested as such by Sony). I want to be able to use the Acid loop browser in real time.

I believe some have had great success with the combo. (Was it MacMoney? I can't remember.) Might want to try a demo of Cubase to see if you have the same results.

everything working good on this end running a modest gateway laptop XP service pack 1 with a tascam us-428 sound device/controller, You can trigger the transport controls from Acid or Sx3,,, Like everything else some claim to have problems ,,some don't ,,,,,, I do know that with the Sx3 update it fixed some rewire issues,,,,,,,

I thank all of you very much for your replies. That is the information I was looking for. Only bummer is, I now have to spend $300 USD in Acid and SX upgrade fees to make it all work. Oh, well, as the say, It's Only Money! Thanks again.
