Subject:next patch/update: when?

so, any word on when the first update for ACID Pro 5 will be released? i'm still working with 4.0 atm because of the bugs with auto preview and loop regions, which completely kill my workflow. any word from the Sony team? i'd like to get on with the transition to 5.0.

When version 6 is announced, get version 5 : all bugs should be fixed... :)

actually i was hoping for a serious reply (preferably by someone from the dev team, altho i estimate it unlikely considering they have been dead quiet about release dates ever since Sonic Foundry). inquiring minds would still like to know, though. :)

I must be one lucky guy. I've yet to have a life-stopping problem. I have a rare crash every now and then, but other than that, it works fine for me.

Its that "now and then crash that kills me" Have you ever been working on a Acid project for a couple of hours and then just out of the blue *crash*...your project becomes frozen in time. Well I have too many times. Yet I have other apps that I load with lot's of vst's vsti's that have never crashed not once! Am I spoiled or is Acid just a clunker that still needs lot's of debuging?
