error initializing th Media Manager -ACID Product Family

You may have the same problem; at least try this, even if you didn't on purpose shut down the MSSQL stuff. Go to the Windows Start menu and select RUN. Type in msconfig and hit Okay. This will run the msconfig applet. Check in all the tabs and on one of the pages you'll find a listing of just about everything running on your computer. Lookf for check marks in all the boxes on lines that have MSSQL or something like that and make sure they're all checked. Reboot. This may clear up the problem. Jack
