Subject:Scratch, brake and other vinyl effects?

Hi,
what's the best method to implement typical turntable/vinyl effects in your ACID projects? And if possible not including wave-files of scratches.
I'm especially about the effect that I think is called brake, where you press a button which stops the turntable within one second, and then you release and let go again you have a nice sound ;-).

Power down would be another effect.

I don't know of any tool offhand (but I'm sure there is one). You can get the "power down" effect by using Sound Forge's pitch bend effect.
