I imported a wav which was previously rendered from an acid project. I imported it into my new project an it has sped up? I tried to time stretch it, but the whole project went out of sync....never had this with acid 4...any ideas thanks

Have you tried changing the ACIDized track type to "One shot" under the track's properties?

Might want to make sure that there aren't any sample rate mismatches somewhere.
