Subject:Files not showing up in Track View

I just got Aid 5.0 and when I open or drag an media file to the track view it doesn't show up. In the track list, it's there. I can play it by previewing. It's a wav. file. This isn't a downloaded version. Just can't figure it out from the manual. Just no sound graph in the track view.

You are painting it onto the track view as well? When you add it to the track list, there will be nothing to play until you paint a loop section.

Thanks. I figured it was something simple, but being simple minded, made it too simple.
