Rewire seems to distort in several applications that I have tried. Namely, FLstudio and Orion... I would be surprised if this is an issue with Acid Pro itself. I have a hunch there is an issue with Rewire drivers themselves... Either that or soundcard settings and drivers. What card do you use and what is your setup? |

Distorted how? What version of Nuendo? What are your "Expert" settings in Nuendo's VST Multitrack set up? What audio hardware? What is your latency? Peter |

I use Cubase SX 3 and the signal is fine. (Although Stereo B is dead. Can live with that. Plenty of Stereo busses left to use.) Maybe the Nuendo 3 upgrade will solve that problem? I'm on WinXP. P4 3.6GHz, 2GB RAM. |

Sorry guys, I was outa town...I'm using the latest ver. of Nuendo. I've got Live 4.0 and Melodyne- both WERE working fine using Rewire, so when Acid audio playback was distorted, I figured it was Acid. So last night, I decided to fire up Live 4.0 in rewire mode, and Acid at the same time....(drum roll...) Live played back distorted, and Acid played back fine!... But now all three programs play back distorted ...Go figure.... Steve |

Peter Turns out un-checking multi processing in expert settings fixes it. This is not a big deal for me since I usually use Acid to set the tempo for drum loops at the beginning of the recording process, and then import the audio to Nuendo. Funny that hyper-threading affects this. I have hyper-threading turned on in my bios. Steve |

This is what I expected. We are trying to figure out what Nuendo and Cubase are doing here. It is different from machine to machine and even from one install of XP to another on the same machine. Thanks Peter |
