CD Region Maker

I'll post this in the Audio forum as well, but figure I'll get a quicker response here due to the heavier traffic on this forum.

I started a new project to burn a cd. From the media pool, I navigated to the folder containing the
WAV files I wanted to include. Dragged the first one to the timeline, clicked the navigation tool bar to move the cursor to the end of the timeline, then, double clicked the next wav file, etc. until all waves were lined up on the timeline in the order that I wanted them.

I then pulled down the TOOLS menu and selected LAYOUT CD FROM EVENTS.

I expected to see cd track region markers placed at the borders of all clips. What I got was markers at beginning and end, the first several clips, then, nothing at the other clip boundaries.

I had to manually place those markers to complete the layout.

So, is there something wrong with my setup, Vegas, or am I going about this in the wrong manner?

I'm running Vegas 5.0b on a 3.0 gHz machine (not that it should matter what machine I'm running) using WinXP Pro.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions. I haven't actually used Vegas much as a CD mastering tool lately - not ever since upgrading to version 5.
