Gotta have it. An absolute must. I can't use Guitar Rig or Nigel in real time to record guitar parts. This is needed for all sorts of recording techniques. I just don't get why this is not implimented. ACID would be pretty close to being perfect with this option. RIght now, I have to use an app like Tracktion (since my Vegas doesn't have rewire) to do any live input monitoring of effects, which is a pain in the buttocks. Please add this feature. Remember that if you want to see anything in a future version of ACID, be sure to fill out the product suggestion form. Aside from that, I've heard that the live input monitoring in Vegas is only advantageous when using ASIO drivers. I imagine the same would apply if ACID had such a feature. Still, hardware is the way to go for me. I can record in real time just fine with my setup. I can record live in realtime, just with no software effects :) I don't have a mixer or external hardware. Total virtual setup. I can use ACID with Tracktion / Cubase in Rewire slave mode, but the system is much slower. I want to also monitor send effects as well insert effects. Very important for virtual studio composers. What I don't get, why put Disk At Once in ACID, but not software monitoring? The latter seems more of a composing / recording necessity. Sony already has CD Architect and Vegas for that. Makes no sense to me. You've got MIDI, VST Insruments, Effects automation, CD burning, Video. Come on!! So close :) Who's with me?!!! |

It was the one feature that I requested. I'm with you. |
