> Although we don't really celebrate Thanksgiving here

I guess that would be like the British celebrating the 4th of July. (or maybe they do ‘cuz they were glad to get rid of us) ;-) Anyway, I agree it’s a great weekend to just enjoy with the family. Safe travels everyone.

JR ? When did this happen? Nobody told us? "‘cuz they were glad to get rid of us" . . . really? I didn't feel a thing .. !

Happy Thanksgiving to you all as well. Let the Christmas stress begin. I loathe the holidays anymore. I know it sounds selfish but it gets old watching other people get tons of gifts and sit there and smile that fake smile like you are happy when deep down you just wished someone out there thought enough of you to give you a gift. Being an adult sucks sometimes. At least we have our healths to be thankful for and the glory of God. I stand corrected. I believe that is the greatest gift we all have in that one day we will be reuinted with our father in heaven.

Yeah, a year ago I didn't know what Vegas was...now I'm hooked, so thanks to all of you guys on this board for your help. Watch football, eat turkey, eat pie, and fall asleep....(after you help with the dishes, of course).

I agree with you pmasters, it's a great time to thank God, you guys are still breathing right? People have this misconception that they were created by chance, or some big explsion (the great big bang) one day we will all die and then we will give an account. So if you ask me, It's not just a holiday my friends it an awesome time to give thanks to God our creator for giving us breath. There is only one God the Father, God The son(Jesus) and God the Holy spirit all in one. So have a pleasant THANKSGIVING and do some great videos of family time.

Thanx, Spot. Thanx for the abundance and blessings in our lives is a daily process, perhaps not reserved for one day a year. My gratitude for this forum, for you and for the folks at SoFo(yes, yes, I know) are extended, herewith.

Douglas, thank you--for everything! I wish things at this time of year could be better for you.

May you find serenity in a world you may not always understand.

Everyone enjoy the blessings you have. They may not always be there. And when they're not--find things to be thankful for anyway.

And P.S. -- Please don't evangelize to me on a Sony web site. My religion is my own business and no one else's.

Happy Thanksgiving to the bottom half of North America.

As usual Canadians have already "been there - done that"

Spot - enjoy the day off. Hard work is responsible for personal achievement.
Your abundance of creativity and talent come from somewhere else. Be thankful for wherever that came from.

JohnnyRoy - are you opening the door to the old "was it the British or the Canadians who burned down the White House" debate. (snicker snicker)

and Grazie - as George Burns used to say "Say goodnight Grazie."

No offence to anyone, just the way I read between the lines.

Happy Holidays to everyone, and remember, whatever your problems, you can always fix it with a little bit of color correction and some gausien blur :-)
p@mast3rs wrote on 11/24/2004, 12:28 PM
I usually just pass a color through to put my problems in perspective. I just cant figure out how to get the alpha channels out of my life.

My holiday advice is if life gets you down, always turn to the cookie cutter.

I only have half the things you have to be thankful for. I'm divorced.

Family , Football , and Food.
man I love this time of year.

Happy holidays to all.

What separates man from the animals is his extended use of tools and ability to communicate and record his thoughts.

What separates "modern man" from his ancestors is the implementation of advanced technology.

And what separates Vegas users from the rest of the herd is the most wonderful, affordable and accessible editing software in the world.

Now...
Please take a moment to consider the billions of unfortunate humans alive today without Vegas... and the 750 million humans who have not had a meal in the last 18 hours (that's right... twice the population of the USA is currently in a state of starvation). I don't mean this to be a "downer" - just to review the original concept of Thanksgiving - a time to be thankful for our blessings.

Happy holidays,
v.

As the old saying goes, “I cried because I had no shoes, and then I met a man who had no feet”.

I agree, keep life in perspective and be thankful for what you DO have.
