Does anyone know if there is a way to change the Registration Information? (when you go to: Help>About) For some reason my Registration Info says, Registered to: A Z I downloaded the trial when it was first released then orderd ACID 5 and input the Serial #. I was never asked to enter any of my personal information. Not that it's a big deal to see A Z there, but it is weird. I would much rather see my name there. (just makes me feel cooler) I've uninstalled and reinstalled ACID 5 but it still never asks me for my information. It instead automatically shows A Z. Is there something more I should be doing to get rid of this Resgistration Information and be able to install using my own info? I just took a look at my VEGAS 5 Help>About and it also says A Z. I haven't installed my DVDA 2 yet. When I do I'd like my entire Sony Suite to have my name in the Registration Info. Any ideas on how to Delete or Update the Registraton Information? |

Wierd. Anytime I install/register it asks for my personal info. All the Sony software does. Maybe I'm used to doing this so much that I've never noticed a particular step it takes to bring that info up. All else fails... customer service. Mario |

Edit the registry carefully with regedit. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Media Software\Shared Information\User Information] and / or [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sonic Foundry\Shared Information\User Information] (depending on software versions installed) |

REGEDIT does the trick! I went into there and migrated to the SonyMediaSoftware registration and changed the info. Whalla! So I guess you could put whatever you want in your registry and it will show in your Splash Screen & on your Help>About. Doesn't make me a better editor, just makes me feel as though I belong. <--mushy* |
