Hey whassup guys(mD...it has definitely been a long time)...I have had Acid for a while and I STILL CANNOT RECORD my "audio" keyboard performances. At this point, I'm convinced that it is definitely me and not my equipment or setup....call me stupid.....cause i prolly deserve it!! Anyways, my setup consists of a Roland XP-60, MPC-2000, M-Audio Omni breakout box, and a Midiman midi interface. Whenever I 'midi record', I do see data on the screen and able to playback once recording has stopped, but on the other hand whenever I try to record strictly audio, I gets nothing!!! I have tried changing certain settings in the M-Audio Omni's hardware panel, but to no avail!!! I feel like I have done every thing possible to get my audio to record in ACID, but obviously I'm missing something......if i could figure this feature out, it would make producing so so so so much easier for me....well maybe "easier" is not the word i'm looking for here, but let's just say it would be so much more convenient for me and how I work...your help and advice would be greatly appreciated BIG TIME!!!! Thanks in advance.....

peace
Antonio

yeah, it has to be in your driver settings. even if you were using the wrong driver you would at least get something. have you tried an alternative asio driver like asio4all or just used the microsoft sound mapper?

Hi antonio,

If I remember correctly, you have to go to the Patchbay/Router tab in the Delta Control Panel to send your playback to "Monitor Mixer," then go to the Monitor Mixer tab and unmute and turn your desired inputs/outputs all the way up.

Let me know if that helps.

Hey Antonio -

Sorry for the delayed reply. I couldn't reply any sooner.
It sounds like an obvious question, but are you using the Omni as your audio output?
mD is also quite right. The M-Audio control panel is the first place to set things up.
If it's working as an output, surely it could work as an input.
