Title imported from Fieworks

I created a title on Fireworks with no background. But when i import it in Vegas, it has white background. How do i remove the background with only the title showing on the video clip?

Assuming Fireworks produces a file with an alpha channel, you may have to turn it on in Event Properties.

Otherwise you can try Chroma Key to remove the white.

What format did you save the file to while in Fireworks?

"A PNG can support up to 32-bit color, can contain transparency or an alpha channel, and can be progressive." (From the Help menu) - this is the option I use.
