Yep, Just Solo the track (X) and Render to New Track (CTRL+M) then mute the original track. ~jr |

well, if i mute a track, does the fx and/or vsti stop eating processing power? i was asking about this little software that lets you freeze your tracks to save memory. have you tryied it? |

I believe the VSTi /FX will still be using memory because they will still be loaded, but it will not be using CPU because muted tracks are ignored on playback. So you will get a decrease in CPU utilization. I don’t know if freeze unloads VSTi’s and FX in other systems. ~jr |
