VEGAS 6 Update!!!!

How long before vegas 6 comes out? When I bought vegas 4 in November of last year it only took vegas 5 a few months before it came out. Now I want to buy vegas 5 but I'm afraid to because Vegas might come out with vegas 6. Come on Sony what's the deal?

Sony is waiting for you to get tired of waiting, and buy Vegas 5. Vegas 6 comes out a few months after that.

No. Just a new box. Why would you want new features when the old ones work so well? Kinda like changing your favorite jeans, isn't it?
And I think they're throwing in an HDV camera when you buy Vegas for the specially offered price of 5999.00. Plus, rumor has it that the box has special holograms that when backwards and upside down, they say "Paul brought fish, paul brought fish." It's all part of the new encode/decode of 3D hallucinations.

I bought 4 right before 5 came out and the upgrade was free, so it was an easy decision. People who had it longer get a good upgrade price.

The sooner you get on Vegas the happier you will be.

If they keep with prior development cycles, it is about 12-14 months between versions. Personally I hope they just do a free point release and not full new one for a while. Maybe with support for the HD cameras and a few other addon's. I just spent my cash on their sound library and the budget needs some recovery time LOL.
