Hello all, Did anyone recieve they're 5.0 loop CD's yet? I'm wondering how long it takes. If you did, what's on the disk, and how many disk(s) are there? Rockitglider |

I got mine in Australia within just a few days - pretty quick delivery! There are two CDs: - The "Content" CD, which is pretty well full of new loops. They are a broad cross-section from material that wasn't used from some of the recent loop libraries - sounds like some of the Ma Ja Le stuff, among others. Good mix of electronica, rock and hip-hop. - The "sampler" CD, which contains sample loops and Acid projects from the loop libraries. Much of this is stuff you could download from the website, but it does save you the time and cost of downloading, plus it's nice to have them on one CD. The real bonus is the sample projects - which include one odd-time example, and several surround sound examples. If you are new to Acid, it's nice to have a whole CD of examples to explore and see how songs are put together. IMO, this is one thing Sonic Foundry always did well - they make lots of good material available for free or bundled with their software. I always feel like I get more than I expected when I buy something from them. Good to see Sony is maintaining this attitude - wish some other companies would take note. |

Hello, Thanks for the info, I guess I should call them and ask why mine hasn't been sent yet, I bought mine the night it came out. I already have the loop library sample CD from Acid 4 Pro, and 3 Pro, but there is some new libraries that I don't have. I was hoping that they were going to give us another CD with new stuff, and sounds like they did, Good deal Sony! Thanks. Rockitglider |

Hmmm ... I don't know how different it is. I never got the ones with 3.0 or 4.0. The shipping then was $37.95 to Australia, so it wasn't worth it to get the CDs. |
