Hi

I've just installed Acid Pro 5 and scanned (imported) my music library into the media manager. Songs which I have "beatmapped" in Acid Pro 4 appear correclty with the tempo and "Beatmapped" as ACID Type.

Now when I "beatmap" a new song without this information, the tempo and ACID Type are still missing.

Almost the same problem with loops (.WAV). The appear widthout temp and ACID Type in the media manager, but when I add them to a project and go "properties" ACID knows the tempo...

Thanks for any help!
Chris

And yes...I have already searched the forum and help ;)

Is this before or after you add the media to the library?

When media is added to the library, it takes a look at the existing properties of the media. It does not scan for changes when you make changes to the media once it's added to the library. (At least not that I know of.)

If this is what's happening to you, what you could do is delete the media from the library, then re-add the media using the "Add Media Files to Library" button.

Yes thats exactly what happened. When I beatmap a file, remove it from libaray and then add it again, the tempo information is set.

But i'm wondering if this is a feature or a bug....?

The tempo information will be refreshed in the media library if you go into the "Add Files..." dialog and re-scan the same directories as before, but with the "All files" radio button selected. This causes us to re-sync the properties of the file with the database.
