OK, can you please stop posting to new threads and let us help you in one thread? You can select which inputs and outputs are enabled using the Volume applet. 1. Select Start > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Volume Control 2. In the volume control select Options > Properties 3. Click the Recording radio-button and check the inputs you would like to record from. 4. Uncheck all the inputs you don’t want to use 5. Press the OK button You should now see a Recording Control dialog. You can adjust the volume of the recording as well as select what device to record from if you checked more than one. This will control where the Microsoft Sound Mapper driver will take the input from. ~jr |

so i should b able to record a trac with out recording the firs if i keep plaing with the in put now right? |

Yes, selecting one input (like Line In) should eliminate the other tracks from recording through the same input. ~jr |
