If you have no sound card, what are you plugging the mic and speakers into? Are you saying that you are using the built-in sound from the motherboard? Try using the Volume applet to turn off all inputs except the one you want to use. (Options > Properties > Recording and uncheck everything except the source you are trying to record) If you are serious about recording, I would get a sound card. The sound on your motherboard is OK for Internet style record and playback but is not going to give you acceptable results for any serious audio application. ~jr |

In the Record window, are you able to select a specific input for recording under "record device"? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Pre-order Instant ACID My ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

Look in the Record window when you go to record. There should be a field (towards the bottom) labeled, "Record device". What do you have for available inputs in this field? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Pre-order Instant ACID My ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |
