ACID Music Studio 5.0 - metronome sound during playback -ACID Product Family

The help files say that the tick track is stripped during final project rendering, but when I render to .wav, I still hear it. What am i doing wrong?

Did you try turning the metronome off before rendering? If so, is it still in the render? I'm trying to record one track with the guitar, and then another, both with the metronome. Upon playback, I get two tick tracks that are not in sync with oneanother, so it's a mess.

What could be happening is that your using your soundcard's mixer as a type of recording input (which would record everything). I had the "What U Hear" selected, not the Microphone. Now, when I turn off the metronome I don't hear it even when it was on during recording.
