Subject:Export Acidized loops at original tempo - how?

Sorry if this is a dumb one, but I can't figure it out. I have a bunch of loops which I've put together in Acid as a general template for tracks. I need to export them all individually (Acidized) so that Logic (which now supports Acidized loops) can read them and I can work with them further. I don't want to export them at a none-original tempo because they might get time-stretched again in Logic. I just need the original loops (which weren't acidized) at their original tempo, but with the Acid stuff embedded into them. Anyone know how to do this? Many thanks Jules PS. I'm using Acid Pro 5. |

Jules, In order to save the acidization info back to the loops, you need to open Track Properties, and use the Save or Save As buttons on the Track Properties toolbar. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to write the ACIDization back to all of the loops in one shot -- you need to go down the tracklist and save them one at a time. Many thanks Frank - I've found what you're suggesting. Kind of a shame there's no one-pass option for this under File>Export Loops (which is what I had hoped). Oh well, these 400 odd loops should keep me busy for the next few hours!! ;-) Thanks again for your help. Jules |

Couldn't you keep what you have in ACID and use ACID as a ReWire device in Logic? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid Pre-order Instant ACID My ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

Unfortunately, Logic's running on a separate Mac, so I really have to export the loops (uinless Sony want to program a quick OS X port of Acid!). Does anyone know if there's any way of 'ACID'izing' loops as a batch process with Sound Forge 7. If there were it would save me a whole load of time as I have Sound Forge. Many thanks for the suggestions. Jules |
