Subject:Problem Recording...(ACID 5.0)

I just bought ACID Music Studio 5.0 and already have a problem recording. Whenever I try to record something, it only records it on one speaker... ACID 5.0 is the only program that does it, and I haven't even messed with any of the settings... It was like this from the very start... Please help me out...

In the Record dialog, are you allowed to choose a specific input for recording under "record device"? If so, what is it?

Is the source you are recording Mono or Stereo? If its mono then change the Record Device to Microsoft Sound Mapper (Mono, Left Channel) or Right Channel depending on which speaker the sound is coming out of and you should be OK. If it's stereo then check your connections. You could have a loose wire.
