Subject:Bug: Acid 5.0 unable to draw new loops once BPM has been changed manually

Here are the steps to recreate the problem: - Start Acid 5 Pro with a blank project - Select a loop file to auto preview below - While letting it play in preview mode, change the project BPM by double clicking the BPM and manually entering a new number. The loop will stop playing. This is different behavior than Acid 4, in which the loop would begin again, but in the new BPM. - Now try to add any loop to the project and draw it onto the screen. It won't draw it. Hopefully I'm not the only person experiencing this problem. |

I am able to reproduce the stop of the preview on a tempo change. However, I can drag any loop to the time line and draw it out after following your steps. Peter |

In which way did you change the tempo? If I use the slider only, it will allow me to draw, but if I double click the tempo and type in a new BPM manually, once I drag in new loops, they won't draw. Well that's a bummer if it only happens to me. Wonder what would cause that on only my machine. Well, it's nothing I can't get around... I just need to remember not to change the BPM manually while a loop is playing in preview mode. |

I can repro the drawing of the loop problem when the tempo is changed by typing in a value. Good catch! I did find that if you change the tempo slightly, the loop you couldn't draw appears magically. Thanks, Peter |
