Still Image Default Time Specification

How Do I set the default Time an image file takes up when i drop it in to the time line.

Right now each still image falls in at 5sec and i want to know how to set it to like a number of frames.
Example 1 image file = 20frames not 5seconds

Options/Preferences/Editing/New still image length(seconds)
Vegas will display frames to the right of the input box

Something to be aware of, and I'm sure you're aware of it since you care to ask the question, is that for NTSC projects you need to set that default time in thousandths of seconds. For instance, 30 frames = 1.001 seconds.

If you were to set it to 1 second then you'd have a default still image running 29.970frames. Kind of messes with snapping in Vegas.

Truth is that the setting for default still image duration needs to be moved from program settings to project settings. When you switch project templates this still image duration needs to adjust as well.
