Subject:A5 lost audio-plugins on uninstalling A4

Got ACIDPro 5 running, started quick and ran sample project file good, so I uninstalled ACIDPro4. Now when opening the sample file in 5 all audio plugins are gone - so sample file can not load as intended. I RESTORED my computer to before I removed ACIDPro4 but the plug-ins did not come back.

Shall I remove ACIDPro4 THEN reinstall ACIDPro5?

Also ACIDPro5 caused some problem with my video drivers - violent flickering od screen????

Have you tried re-installing Acid 5?

Definitely try reinstalling ACID Pro 5.

If the violent flickering continues, try to see if updated video drivers are available or turning down video acceleration (or turn it off) to troubleshoot.

The same thing happened to me. Just uninstall Acid 5 and reinstall it again. Problem should be solved. Apparently, uninstalling 4 removes those plugs...

BTW, I forgot about this, (from Sony Steve)

You shouldn't have to uninstall/reinstall ACID 5 to fix this problem. Use the migration tool utilities in the Windows Start menu (Programs\Sony\Utilities\Migration Tools\Register Sony DirectX Audio Plug-Ins) and your plug-ins should be back up and running.
