How long does it take to get your new serial number emailed after buying the downloadable upgrade? I bought it last night (Australian time) and I am still waiting next day.

Took about 5 seconds when I ordered it this morning (in Canada here). Perhaps it's to do with the time difference and authorising your credit card or something?

blacker, I'm in Canada also, how much was your total $$ for Acid5 (upgrade)and was there any VAT charges?

$149, plus $20 for shipping. No extra taxes or anything.

Just got the official upgrade email. There is a bonus CD of your choice from the standard loop library range. I didn't see this when I upgraded. I have emailed support on this and the serial number issue 9still haven't received it).

Did you get a separate serial number/code for the virtual instrument package?

Yes, I got an email with 2 serial numbers, one for the upgrade and one for the instruments.

I also purchased the upgrade *before* I got the promotional email offering the free CD from the loop library range. I emailed support, but I've yet to hear anything about that... Hope I can get it sent with the 2 CDs that come with Acid, otherwise I'll end up paying twice for shipping, which at $20 (US) just to send them to Canada seems a bit outrageous...

Same here, I asked them to combine the orders. At least the shipping is lower than the $37.95 it used to be, but it is still outrageous. Compare SoundsOnline or Time&Space, which is under $10.

Yeah, really... I mean I only paid around $20 to have a Waldorf Pulse synth sent to me from the States via UPS... CDs weigh what? A couple of ounces? :-) Sheesh...
