Subject:Acid Pro 5 issue...

Hi:

I just installed Acid Pro 5 (upgrade from 4) and it looks good... Only thing is, I uninstalled Acid Pro 4 after installing 5 (as 4 was still sitting there taking up space) and I now seem to be missing some Sony plug-ins - e.g. the Resonance Filter plug comes up as missing when I load the demo Acid Pro 5 song. Not sure what else might be missing, but wondering how to fix this - do I need to install 4.0 again to get those plugins back?

Cheers...

You might want to reinstall ACID 5. There have been several problems with the Sofo/Sony renaming across all the products with things not working. I assume ACID 4 didn’t realize ACID 5 was using some of the plug-ins and uninstalled them.

Try uninstalling ACID 5 and re-installing.

You shouldn't have to uninstall/reinstall ACID 5 to fix this problem. Use the migration tool utilities in the Windows Start menu (Programs\Sony\Utilities\Migration Tools\Register Sony DirectX Audio Plug-Ins) and your plug-ins should be back up and running.

Thanks,
Steve

Thanks Steve - I didn't see your reply, so I un- and re-installed Acid Pro 5 and all is working fine. Thanks for your time!
