Dear Sony programmers:

First of all, thanks for your work on ACID PRO 5.0. I think i will have a good impact on the music community. I can't wait for the demo to try it out!!

Several months ago, I asked about the possibiliy to control ACID PRO using my Yamaha mixer 01V. Sadly, you stated that this was not possible with the actual ACID 4.0. As some users requested to have "control surfaces" to be implemented in ACID PRO 5.0, I waited for this...but....... OK, I know this feature can be a bit "for a very small userbase". So, perhaps there can be a way to please everyone on this point, and help ACID to gain new grounds. I really want to know if will be possible to map at least the volume faders of a project to a midi controler, perhaps using the simple "midi learn" system used by so many softsynths with a right mouse click. As I can't see a word about this in the PRO 5.0 features I understand that must wait, but this is my small question: Can a feature like this be implemented in a revision or a big rebuild (6.0) should be needed?

Recently I did an USA tour with a laptop, ACID PRO 4.0 playing the tracks and with a controller keyboard I player vstis loaded into ACID live. IT ROCKED, and never failed to me in the whole tour. The only thing I missed was the possibility to mix the volumes myself using any kind of cheap controller (fatboy?) to change levels on stage instead of using the mouse and changing the fader levels one by one. Perhaps this (smal?) feature could help ACID PRO to take a new gain on the LIVE people out there :)

I sincerely hope you can give me some hopes here:)

All the best

I was hunting for that same information last night, but it doesn't seem like there were any advancements on that front.

The Demo comes out on Monday. Get yours early, I'm sure the site will be busy.
